Joyce Burcham, 1902, plays piano in a local amateur jazz ensemble with neighbors in the area. We are looking for jazz enthusiasts to rehearse with us this summer on Tuesday nights, 6 pm to 7 pm, at the Bloomingdale School of Music on West 108th street. Right now we have piano, flute, and violin. We welcome any instrument, and can accommodate any grade of performer, from student up to professional. All ages—we range from high school sophomore to retiree. If you want jam with us cats, contact Joyce Burcham, jlburcham@aol.com, before July 8.
