Ocean Lovers – Angel and Clown Fish
Paintings by Selva Ozelli

I painted and continue to paint my Ocean Lovers – Angel and Clown Fish series for three museums (Havre de Grace Maritime Museum, CUHK Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change, Hong Kong, and Lord Howe Island Museum, Australia) to draw attention to the need to protect our oceans. This art show is endorsed by the United Nations Ocean Decade.

Biography
I am an artist and a writer. After my great-grandmother painted my oil portrait at the age of 5, following in her footsteps and her son my great-uncle, who was a lawyer, author and oil painter, I wanted to write, draw and paint too. I began winning international art competitions in elementary school with my portraits. To date, my work has been acknowledged in 19 global art competitions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I began exhibiting my paintings globally in museums, the United Nations, ministries and NGOs. I took part in in over 130 solo exhibitions and 20 group exhibitions. My artwork has been cataloged by the United Nations, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum, the Berlin University of Art and CUHK Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change, Hong Kong.
I am also the author of a book titled Sustainably Investing in Digital Assets Globally. I write monthly columns for numerous digital asset and environmental publications, which are translated into 45 languages and republished in over 200 publications globally. I am a member of Climate Heritage Network and an ambassador to Oceanic Global.
My artwork is sold through several galleries and my studio is located in Cold Spring, NY.
